It is taking me more than a month to port my number out from Kogan. I've requested a call back several times no response. All operators say your issue is escalated to the highest level. Their support always promises to call back with status update within 24 hours - NEVER got any calls from them! According to what they say, my case has been escalated at least twice - still didn't help.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Also, they've explicitly lied to me by saying that the problem is with my current provided not releasing the number! The credit card details on file just make it easier for you to signup to plan rather than re keying it in every month or whatever period you have chosen.  I would select the plan that you want and it should activate within 1hr. No response to emails and help line disconnects me after waiting various lengths of time up to over 15 minutes with message stating that are too busy to take my call.  In summary dirt cheap with truly woeful service. Took only a couple of days in the mail .  Activation process was easy and he seems very happy so far. When he has used I will try the 3 month service and access how it goes.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;As a parent Kogan mobile seems perfect with no confusion on what your getting unlimited calls and SMS and a large amount of data.
